I think the whole idea of getting more conservative as you get older is funny. I get more chaotic every year. I’m to the point of shouting, “Shut up! I do what I want!” when YouTube tries to recommend me art tutorials. I used to love art tutorials. Now I wish I could block all art tutorials and videos about art business and marketing. NO. Art is mine. I’m reclaiming it.
I’ve been painting on cardboard due to being tired of the texture of canvas. It feels a lot freer as well, and cheaper than wood panels. I was just slopping paint on here and playing with a hot glue “stencil” when I ended up with half a cat. So I gave her another half. She’s up to some sort of deviltry.
